Ex-President, Secretary, Treasurer are made honorary life members and Groundsman thanked at what was a successful club day.

The post covid club day to close the 2019/20 interupted season proved to be a great success as footballers from all ages, parents, families and friends met at Sylvans for a day of celebration.

The day begun with the final minis session of the season, including Nations Cup semi-finals and finals across the age groups, the traditional penalty competition and end of season presentations.

Huge thanks to our minis sponsor Collenette Jones for their continued support. Over 100 children took part on a gorgeous morning, the top prize of Mini of the Year, presented by Jon Collenette being shared on this occassion by Jimmy Montgomery and Emerson Nobes.

The afternoon saw the youth teams combine for some 5-a-side fun, followed by the Under 18's and Seniors. An all day barbeque, cake sale, canteen and bar kept everybody happy topped off with a hog roast and live football in the clubhouse.

New president Adrian Brown welcomed new main club sponsors Sarnian Roofing to the club and thanked Nigel Gallienne, Kevin Melrose and Paddy Breton for many years of service as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. They live big boots and were rewarded with honorary life membership as a small token of gratitude.

Andy 'Chi' McCarthy was also thanked as he steps away from his duties as head groundsman to focus on a house renovation, another club stalwart thanked for his contribution to the club.

Sincere thanks to all of the volunteers and organisers who made this happen.
