The costs of providing football, ensuring coaches are qualified and trained accordingly plus maintaining the facilities are increasing all the time however we hope this still represents excellent value for money.

All subscriptions should be paid through the clubs website via PayPal no later than 30th September click here.  If you are unable to pay via the the website please speak to one of the minis coordinators who will provide you with the appropriate forms.  Failure to pay subscriptions could result in children not being able to take part in training or matches.

  • We kindly request that Reception & Year 1 parents/guardians remain present at the mini training session for the whole of the session. All children, parents/guardians and spectators attending mini training must adhere to our safety policies, codes of conduct and behaviour policy.

  • Sylvans do NOT accept responsibility for any child from more than 5 minutes before a session commences and more than 5 minutes after the end of a session. Therefore please ensure your child is not left unattended outside of these times.

  • All sessions take place at our St Peters base. Training takes place from 10am on Satuday mornings finishing at 11:30am with the exception of Reception /Year 1 which finishes at 11:15am. Reception & Year 1 groups train on the training pitch at the bottom of the main St Peters pitch, Years 2 - 5 inclusive train on the Dave Jehan Field adjascent to the main pitch and Year 6 & 7 train on Les Brehauts behind St Peters Post Office next St Peters Church.

Please keep an eye on social media as occassionally we may need to merge or move some sessions for various reasons, e.g. weather, numbers, etc. Of course we plan to keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum, however should the need arise, communication will be made appropriately on these channels.

  • THE CLUB

The clubhouse is available to children, parents/guardians and spectators during and following mini’s sessions for refreshments, etc. We would consider the facilities used as a very safe environment, however whilst every effort is made in safeguarding the children, we cannot be held responsible for an individual's possessions during the sessions.

  • OUR COACHES

All our head coaches hold the relevant qualifications required to facilitate our sessions. These include FA coaching qualifications (at a minimum level 1 standard) and all of our coaches and assistants have completed the relevant CRB Safety Disclosures, First Aid and Safeguarding children training.

KIT

Appropriate clothing/kit must be provided at all sessions, e.g. Shin Pads, Football Kit, Warm Clothing, Rainproof tops, etc. Failure to have all equipment may result in the child not being allowed to participate.

Please note Sylvans kit is available to purchase, please ask a member of the mini’s coaching team for details.

Each child should bring a bottle of water or a drink of their choice with them to ensure they are properly hydrated. Drinks are available to purchase from the canteen on Saturday mornings. Sylvans reserve the right to refuse participation of a child at its discretion.

    SAFEGUARDING & WELFARE

In the event of any child suffering an injury whilst participating in mini training, parents / guardians will be contacted and where appropriate medical advice will be sought. Please be advised that any costs incurred in seeking medical attention (e.g. an ambulance) will be the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian.

      • There will be occasions when photographs and/or videos may be required for media purposes and perhaps promotional material, e.g. website content, brochures, etc. You must ensure that if you do not wish for your child to be involved in any photographs for this purpose you inform a member of the coaching staff.

      • If you have any concerns regarding any of the above or otherwise, please contact the clubs Welfare Officers.
